When we moved to this house 16 months ago I missed the trees so very much. I had lived for 5 years downtown near the river and my street was covered most of the year with a canopy of leaves.
Before that I have lived in the hill country and while those trees are so short some don't consider them real trees they were at least tall enough to be overhead and provide shade.

So moving to a house built on farm land there was a extreme lack of tall foliage and no trees were more than 5/10 years old from sapling. and on our side of the neighborhood they are even younger. I would notice it most when I went into town and I felt like I could breath again! I would relax and feel at home!
But something is different this year. I have learned to love the sky like never before! Every morning out my kitchen windows I can see the sunrise, and storms that blow across can be so majestic and awe inspiring! Some times when I'm out walking the clouds make it appear I'm in giant building with a glass ceiling domed around on all sides it's just beautiful! This morning when Daniel called after leaving for work tell me to go look outside, what I saw sealed it, I love living where I can see the sky!!!
